Nobodies’ Theatre sincerely invites you to join us in experiencing the journey of a young boy living in Hong Kong, Ah Ngau, as he sets out to find his way home using a map drawn by emerging local playwright Tsing Shan Railway.
After waking up one day, Ah Ngau opens the door only to realize he has forgotten his own name and lost his way. The people around him seem strange and almost mystical, and the city itself has become bizarre and unfamiliar. He originally planned to run away with the most important person in his life, but… he was stood up.
This original work, filled with dreamlike elements, combines text with performers’ raw singing, movement, and rhythm, creating a sensory ritual that calls back to the past. We believe that singing and movement are direct expressions of one’s inner state; through these, performers build an energy field that awakens sensory memories.
