SIU Ji Chin Jovita (b. 1996, Hong Kong; based in Prague, Czech Republic) is a theatre director, actor, whose practice bridges devised and object theatre, movement, puppetry, and ensemble-based creation. She graduated in 2025, with a MA in Directing of Devised and Object Theatre from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU).

Jovita’s artistic inquiry unfolds through autobiographical materials, memory, shared realities, and absence–presence, using theatre as a mode of empathetic engagement and collective reflection. Her work often explores how landscapes of memory and lived experience can be translated into performative and visual forms, consistently foregrounding materiality, embodied practice, and ensemble co-creation. Jovita’s practice is rooted in devising processes that prioritize collaboration, material research, and embodied dramaturgy.

Her training encompasses a diverse range of movement and physical theatre practices, synthesizing approaches influenced by Jacques Lecoq and Jerzy Grotowski, as well as Chinese Tai Chi, Japanese Butoh, and Kalaripayattu, with a particular focus on collective creation and devised performance methodologies.

Jovita, together with Kristina Kellnerová (CZ/ES) form the Prague-based duo collective OSU. Combining their distinct approaches, they explore multidisciplinary practices and alternative ways of relating to audiences. Their work, developed through projects such as anytime, anywhere and The Mending Room, navigates themes of memory, fragmentation, migration, and collective struggles, blending movement, objects and audiovisual elements through a lens of magical realism.

Jovita is also a founding member of the Hong Kong–based collective Feast on Waste Land, whose first production Far Far Away received the Adelaide Fringe Tour Ready Award and toured Australia (2020).

Her recent performance include Spider, Turtle, We (Ran Jiao); One in All / All in One (Nobodies’ Theatre); the international mask work Papa (Théâtre de la Feuille; touring HK, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan); and Devil’s Realm (A Studio Rubín, Prague).


蕭芷芊（1996 年出生於香港，現定居於捷克布拉格），現於布拉格表演藝術學院 (DAMU)就讀編作及物件劇場導演碩士。 畢業於香港中文大學新聞與傳播學院，戲劇和平面設計是她的主要發展方向。 

她認為戲劇是一種理解他人的嘗試。 自傳體材料、記憶、共享現實、缺席-存在是她的主要研究主題。

其學習揉合西方和東方傳統肢體的動作訓練，包括西方賈克樂寇、格洛托夫斯基及東方傳統身體如太極、舞踏、卡拉里帕亞圖等，專注於集體創作。

劇場藝術團體—吃掉荒原創團成員之一。2019年以首個演出《遠方除了遙遠一無所有》參與不貧窮藝術節 x 香港，榮獲與阿德萊德藝穗節共同頒發的 Adelaide Fringe Tour Ready Award，並於 2020年前往澳州巡演。最新的裝置、展演計劃《巡禮》獲選參與PQ2023布拉格劇場設計四年展香港學生館。

近期演出作品包括“Spider, Turtle, We” by Ran Jiao, 去劇場《一即全/全即一》；吃掉荒原 《遠方除了遙遠一無所有》（香港、阿德萊德）；綠葉劇團《爸爸》（香港、中國內地、台灣、韓國、日本巡演及創作演員）、《恨鐵不成鋼》等。
